PERI Worldwide
PERI has short and long term milestones, measures of accomplishment, and a goal. Our goal—the end of rape on our planet in this century—has no precise end date. There is insufficient data for such a prediction, however we anticipate that it will take at least four generations of focus.
- Our short term milestones:
- to build a platform of people with voices raised for the end of rape in twenty countries by the close of 2007
- to build a platform of action in every country in the world by the close of 2015
- Our long term milestones are:
- to have at least sixty million (60,000,000) people declare that they no longer tolerate the persistence of rape on the planet by signing the Declaration Card with their name or thumbprint
- use the Worldwide Web to safely record the names and numbers of people who are the voice in every country of the end of rape
In 2016 we will determine the next set of short term milestones that will move the world toward the end of rape.
