PERI's vision is a world free of rape and the fear of rape. Nothing short of that freedom will do.
PERI's Mission
PERI is a strategic, grassroots organization with the worldwide mission to end rape. There is rape in every country of the world (225 countries as of June 2005). In every country there are people who want rape to end and who will join a movement that takes action toward ending rape.
PERI does not intend to recreate or repeat the effective and successful work done by thousands of organizations dealing with rape victims and survivors. Instead, the world counts on PERI to discover what needs to be done to end rape.
That is our mandate and our mission.
